We are looking for Senior Quantity Surveyors to join our team and provide core commercial services for our clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for individual to gain experience working for a variety of clients across various sectors.

The role

  • Full time, permanent.
  • Site-based in Peterborough and surrounding areas, with fortnightly travel to our Leeds head office. Up to 3 days working from home per week.
  • Providing core commercial services to various clients (dependent on your area of expertise).
  • Initial role likely to be on Anglian Water @One Alliance.
The successful candidate will
  • Have a degree in a construction or quantity surveying related discipline.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a Quantity Surveyor.
  • Preferably have experience working on infrastructure projects, such as utilities, highways, rail and/or other civils projects.
  • Have an in depth understanding and experience of contractual and commercial processes.
  • Have contractor QS experience, taking full responsibility for main contract commercial management and subcontract procurement / management.
  • Have good knowledge of NEC forms of contract.
  • Be client focused and able to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships.
  • Be a self-motivated team player that demonstrates excellent judgement and decision-making skills.
  • Be flexible, positive and engaging, with a desire to learn and develop through exposure to different types of clients and projects.
Remuneration and benefits
  • £50,000 – £65,000 salary (depending on experience/qualifications).
